Before we moved in to our new apt, the previous managers asked if we wanted new carpet or if it was alright to just get them cleaned. They looked good and why put them through more work before leaving? Well we were wrong. After a couple of months the carpets were starting to look dirty and dingy. Annoyed at having to look at dirty carpet everyday and annoying my husband even more, he finally gave in and let me buy a personal carpet cleaner. But he did more. He talked with our owner and they decided to go with laminate flooring. Now how 'bout that? I didn't think it would happen for awhile, but a couple of weeks later, we now have beautiful laminate flooring in our entryway, kitchen and dining area. It definitely "ups" the apartment and it makes me feel like I have a little home rather than a dingy apartment. It never hurts to ask.
