A to Z.

Little Z loves books. It's fun to hear her even say book, she says "boop" and does the motion of opening a book with her hands. I've started singing the ABC's more, especially before we start the book posted above. She now goes around singing, "Y and Z....Y and Z." It's fun to see her catching on to everything so quickly.

Yesterday she said her name for the first time. Now when she sees pictures of herself, she shouts out her name. Since we've had our pictures taken, we've been looking at them quite often trying to figure out which ones to order so we can finally fill our empty picture frames. She loves looking at them and is always saying, "It's daddy!" or "It's mommy!" If I try and go somewhere else on the computer, she gets upset and says, "I wanna see you." She does the same thing with the camera. Every time after taking pictures or a video clip it's, "I see you, I see you." It's amazing how technology works. Remember when we used to have to wait to see if our pictures even turned out and if they didn't, better luck next time?

Some of my favorite words out of Little Z are:
all better (all betta)
elevator (sometimes we take the elevator just so I can hear her say the word)
don't touch (usually is said after she's spilled something or I'm sweeping the floor)
hello (ello) this is what she yells out when the phone rings or when she sees a phone.

I love that she is speaking more and more, but sometimes I find myself frustrated and arguing with an 18 month old. The joys of being a mom.
