Z was a sparkler maniac on the fourth of July. We gathered with our neighbor friends to have a block party/fireworks show. It was a good environment for both girls to have fun and be safe. I'm not sure how many packages of sparklers we went through that night, but we still had some left over. In fact our friends sent us home with 6 boxes just so we could have more fun. I'm not sure when I'll break them out, maybe for Cici's big day?
Luckily there was only one little accident. A little singed hair. Z had been behind one of the boys and his sparkler grazed her cheek. It scared her a little, but mostly she just stunk like burnt hair.

I had to get a picture of everyone watching the show. We had to cover Cici's ears for the piccolo pete's. Seriously, what is the purpose of that firework? All it does is make one annoying sound. I'm all about the sparks.
But then the boys had the genius idea of putting them on the top of the ladder to make them appear larger.
Overall we had a great weekend. We hope you enjoyed your fourth as well.
