The Kwik Way.

About a year ago I found out my friend's father used to own a hamburger joint just down the street from us. She used to work there with her father cleaning the grills and has many stories. It wasn't until about 3 weeks ago while strolling through the farmer's market, we saw the lights on and business happening once again. So to cool our curiosity, we decide to try the place with our friends and see if it was still the same as it once was.

To be honest, I wasn't a fan. It wasn't all what I was hoping for and is nothing like it once was. I was expecting a juicy fat hamburger with dill pickles and some kind of special sauce, but instead it had garlic mayo, no pickles and the burger flavor just didn't fancy my taste. Papa J didn't love it, but enjoyed the fact that it was different. I did like the french fries, but really can you go wrong with french fries? Z had some chicken but the outside was a little spicy for her taste buds. As for Boots? She sticks everything in her mouth so no accurate account of goodness from her.

We enjoyed going out and trying something new especially since it's somewhat of a historical place. Too bad it didn't hit the spot for me, but others may like it. It was a fun family night and it was a good excuse to take some pictures of our neighborhood as we will be leaving soon.

Wow that pic of the diner makes it look not so sketchy.
I walked past it last week and it was packed.
