Santa Clause is coming to town.

The girls are in bed, but keep calling from their room, "I can't fall asleep!" They are so excited for tomorrow morning in hopes that Santa visits our home. We left him chocolate milk and cookies and even wrote him a note with some pictures.

We also read the Christmas story in Luke 2 tonight. We got Cici's baby and wrapped her in swaddling clothes and placed her in the manger (bassinet). Z pretended to be Mary while Cici played a shepherd with our stuffed sheep. They did pretty well and I feel good at least knowing we tried to teach them the true meaning of Christmas and why gifts are given and brought to us by Santa. They may get wrapped up in receiving gifts as young children, but I know as they grow older they will understand better.

We hope all of our friends and family enjoy this time together when the spirit of Christ is strong. May we all be blessed with love and happiness as this year comes to an end and a new one begins. We are so grateful for all that we have and feel very fortunate to be with one another this Christmas season. Merry Christmas to all!
