A couple of weeks ago Z had a week off of school and Papa J was scheduled to be on call for four days in a row. So like the nice wife and mother I am, I took off for a little vacation with the girls. I texted my sister and low and behold she had a couple of days off work too. And just like that, we headed to beautiful Santa Barbara.
While we were there we hit up the zoo, the sea center, the beach, the park, and the gem show. But more importantly we spent time with family.
