4th Annual Adult Christmas Party.

We were looking forward to this party as soon as we received the invitation. You might remember last year when we hit up the karaoke. We didn't have a lot of time to invest this year, as we had to make it back home, but we managed to have a great time. Our friends always know how to throw a good party. We were asked to take pictures, and I'm sad to say I didn't catch it all. I am a little disappointed in how the pictures turned out, so forgive me. I was trying a new setting on our camera so I could avoid the dreaded flash. It worked okay. I'll try something different in the future.

The white elephant gift exchange was the most entertaining this year. You can always expect a good laugh when the bags are ripped opened. We ended up coming home with New Year's party poppers and a flying, screaming monkey. We thought it would be a fun gift for Little Z, but she wasn't so sure at first. Now she enjoys seeing him soar across the room screaming at the top of his lungs. Other sorry gifts included a party Santa tray (or wait, do you really hang it from the door? We didn't know exactly what it was), a decorative boot (or stocking maybe?), pig chimes, a cow dressed as a bride (returned from last year) and a pregnancy test that will be used here shortly (ahem...we want to know the results...well only if it's positive!).
