My beanie girl.

I'm always going back and forth between projects. Lately I've felt the need to start crocheting again and am still yearning to learn how to knit.

As I was talking to one of my tenants about knitting patterns for my mom, she also mentioned to me a website. I immediately checked it out and now am hooked. Z saw me browsing patterns and asked if I was making her a hat. I had to reply yes, but I was hesitant to see if she would actually wear it. When I finished it, she was excited to wear it! So I snapped a few pics and then she took it off. She's worn it a second time, but can't manage to wear it longer than 5 min. I'm still crossing my fingers, though, that come winter time, she'll want to wear it more. It's so cute on her!

Z specifically asked for a purple flower to put on the hat and I have yet to do it. Again I am always back and forth between projects. I need to start a list and go one by one, but really how fun would that be?

I really am in love with this hat, though and have bought some grey yarn to make myself one. It's the only thing getting me excited for winter.

Geez, in a beanie Z looks so old! You can totally tell what she'll look like as a teenager. :)
