While we were in the city for Fleet week, we took a short stop to look at the Coit tower. Papa J has always wanted to ride the elevator to the top. It was his lucky day. Since his brother is active military, they let us all ride to the top for free. It's usually a few dollars per person. The view of the city lights was amazing. You can't quite tell, but this view (below) is of the golden gate bridge and Ghiradelli Square.
Here is downtown along with the bay bridge. Isn't it a sight?
And since it was a beautiful night (it was 90° that day), it was perfect.
