The Hornblower.

Over a year ago Papa J and I had won tickets for a dinner cruise in the San Francisco Bay. We never really thought to look at the expiration date until about a month ago and then we realized we better take advantage of our free tickets before it was too late. We were lucky enough to squeeze it in and even enjoy it with family. When a trip to Hawaii fell through for Papa J's brother, he and his wife then joined us for an evening of sight seeing, dinner and dancing.

It sprinkled rain here and there, but stopped enough for us to enjoy some of the city lights. The cruise takes you around the bay so you can see Alcatraz, Angel Island, Sausalito, Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge and At&T Park. Unfortunately it was too foggy to see the Golden Gate Bridge, but when we headed under the Bay Bridge I was able to catch a few pics.

The cruise ship was divided into two levels. The top level (the one we were on) had a live band and was more for the older crowd. We wandered around to the lower level to find a DJ and a much younger crowd. We danced on both floors and had a great time. It's been a while since we've been able to "let loose."
