Since Zoe has started solid foods, it's fun to watch her try and learn to feed herself. It's so cute to see her pick up the pieces of tofu and try to make it in her mouth. There are times she is successful and I'm sure she feels rewarded. When I take her out of the high chair, I usually find it all in her lap. The other good thing about tofu is that its very accessible when going to sushi restaurants. The other night we were supposed to have dinner with our boss, but fortunately for us (he really is a great guy) he got caught up with his own job, so he insisted we go without him and he'd pick up the tab. Wow! A date! We hadn't had one of those in awhile and bonus was that is wasn't going to come out of our pocket! Jeremy insisted we go to Happy Roll in Todos Santos Plaza. We had eaten their once before and really enjoyed it. One of our tenants is a sushi chef and his sister owns the restaurant. They were happy to see us and brought over some side salads on the house. It was great to be able to enjoy the evening and Zoe was happy with her tofu. She wasn't able to pick it up herself, but mom graciously fed it to her with non other than chop sticks. She tried to grab hold of them, but I didn't think chewing on a piece of wood would have been a great idea.
