Day two of our mini vacation was spent at Sea World. Papa J only had a half day at work so he met up with us in the late afternoon.
We started out seeing/touching the bat rays. We then moved onto the tide pool species. And then we hit up the aquarium. That was Z's favorite part. It's funny to see and hear all the kids around pointing out Nemo and Dori when possible. We owe Pixar big time. Without them, who knows if children would be so interested in fish.

This fish was our favorite. We watched him for a good 15 minutes. I just couldn't believe how huge he was.

We then headed over to the Shamu show. It was fun to see the people getting splashed over and over again. Whales are amazing animals and so are dolphins. But throughout the show I couldn't stop thinking about
The Cove. If you haven't seen it, be sure to put it on your que. Very interesting (and sad).
At night they have one last show called Shamu Rocks. Papa J decided we should press our luck and sit up close in the splash zone. As luck would have it, we didn't get we at all. And I'm really glad we sat there because we practically had front row seats and it's a much better show up close.
